Here are a few useful Tips to get you started

  • This useful tip will assist you in navigating the Knowledge Base and Services -  Click here to avoid getting lost
  • What is a Knowledge Base?  A Self-Service Reference Center for the most common problems or issues you may have.
  • What is Services?  The place to go for Help to resolve your problem or issue.   The end result will be a solution or a Request for Service from the Helpdesk. 
  • Help me, I have a Problem! - Excellent place to start if you need assistance. 
  • How to have a trouble-free Password experience.  This is a must-read.  click the link to avoid Password Problems
  • Multi-Factor Authentication - MFA  Required for all Staff and Faculty.  You will not be able to access your Account without it.  Complete instructions can be found in Knowledge Base or Services
  • If you have another Microsoft 365 account, use a dedicated Browser for DeSales and another for your other account.  Otherwise, you will be in a continuous loop trying to access all of your Applications.
  • Recommended Browsers -   DeSales is a Microsoft-based University. 
  • Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge are the recommended Browsers.  Safari does not cooperate well with our IT security and internal DSU resources.  Please do not use Safari.
