If you have an Audio issue in the classroom

  1. Select the Speaker icon on the taskbar.
  2. Next, select the arrow to open a list of audio devices connected to your computer.
  3. Check that your audio is playing to the audio device you prefer, such as the Classroom Speakers. Some classroom’s audio devices will have names that involve Matrix, Crestron, or Realtek Audio. (try them all if needed)

If that does not resolve the issue, continue to next steps.

  1. Select and hold (or right-click) the Speakers icon on the taskbar, and then select Open Volume mixer.
  2. You’ll see a set of volume controls for your devices. Make sure none of them are muted. If any of them are muted, you’ll see a red circle with a line through it next to the volume control. In that case, select the volume control to unmute.
  3. As a final attempt, you can check if any sound device has been disabled by mistake.
  4.  Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
  5. Click “Manage sound devices” under the Output Section.
  6. Attempt to enable and test all output device.
  7. If the audio is not working properly or you need audio immediately please contact the Helpdesk, or submit Request Service (upper right)
