Lockdown Browser Problem

**It is recommended that you access D2L Brightspace/ Lockdown Browser using Google Chrome Web Browser, there have been known compatibility issues with Safari and Firefox**

Lockdown Browser MUST be accessed by using D2L Brightspace

  • Do not try to access Lockdown Browser without first logging into the MyDSU portal and selecting the D2L Brightspace Link
  • in Brightspace, select course and navigate to quiz

If you still cannot access your quiz in Lockdown Browser, you will need to Submit a Service Request (upper right)

 

*NOTE: 

Chromebooks are not recommended for taking quizzes through Respondus Lockdown Browser.

Chromebooks have been known to cause issues when attempting to utilize Respondus Lockdown Browser, and for that reason, are not recommended.

If you are on campus, the Trexler Library and various computer labs throughout campus have the Respondus Lockdown Browser application installed on the computers. If you do not have another device aside from your Chromebook, you will need to take your exam through one of those devices.
