Phone Method

Use this method if you want Microsoft to text you a numeric code

Sign in to Office.com with your DeSales credentials  (email and password)

1. Sign in, you will be prompted for more information.
2. Choose Next.
3. The default authentication method is to use the Microsoft Authenticator app.  DO NOT SELECT THIS METHOD. 
4. Select I want to set up a different method. Microsoft 365 will ask for mobile number. Enter you phone number. Then send an SMS message containing your code to verify device.

Do Not Use this Method if you Travel outside the USA, unless your Carrier allows International Phone Coverage

Recently Microsoft has been forcing users to download the Microsoft Authentication App as a back-up if using text.  You may be prompted to download the App. Follow the other MFA instructions on the prior page.
