Modules are required in order to utilize material in your course. Within each module you can upload/create various content.
For better organization, submodules can organize materials within each of your modules.
For example, if your course is organized by week, you can incorporate and daily agenda of items using submodules.
Submodules work the same as modules except they are embedded in modules.
Creating assignments is the same format.
If needed, you can create submodules within submodules.
To create a module:
-
Go to your course in Brightspace
-
Go to "Content" in the Blue Navbar
-
In the left-hand vertical menu, click on "Add a Module"
-
Type in the name of the module
To create a Sub-Module:

Deleted content can be recovered within 48 hours but the request needs to be sent to the Brightspace Helpdesk, the CERT team cannot recover content.
