How to Access a Quiz or Test in Brightspace Using Respondus LockDown Browser
Follow these steps to access your quiz or test in Brightspace.
1. Log in to MyDSU
Log in to MyDSU using a browser other than Safari.
2. Open Brightspace
After logging in, you will see red blocks containing different applications. Select Brightspace.
3. Navigate to Your Quiz or Test
In Brightspace:
- Select the appropriate course.
- Select More Tools near the top of the page.
- Navigate to the quiz or test you need to complete.
- Follow the instructions provided there to open or download Respondus LockDown Browser.
4. Do Not Open LockDown Browser Directly
Do not open Respondus LockDown Browser from your computer or device.
Instead, return to your course in Brightspace and open the quiz or test.
5. Start Your Quiz or Test
When you open the quiz or test from Brightspace, Respondus LockDown Browser will launch automatically.
Important: Always start LockDown Browser by opening the quiz or test through Brightspace. Do not launch LockDown Browser separately.
